Ryan studied and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School Cum Laude, earning his Juris Doctor. He is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan and Eastern Federal District. In the civil realm, Ryan has excelled at construction law litigation, contract disputes, and real property issues. In the Criminal realm, Ryan focuses his practice on Misdemeanor representation at the 36th District Court, located in the City of Detroit.
Colemon L. Potts

Colemon Potts is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Colemon's practice focuses primarily on commercial and residential property litigation, criminal law, and personal injury. Throughout his tenure with DLG, Colemon has secured judgments well over a million dollars and secured favorable outcomes for his clients in each field of practice. Ali A. Berro

Ali A. Berro is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He co-founded the Arab-American Law Student Association, which is premised on paving academic student success for minority students. Ali attended Wayne State University for his undergraduate degrees, where he studied Journalism and Philosophy. He also minored in French. During his academic career, Ali secured multiple national awards for persuasive speaking and debating.
Clayton P. Miller
Attorney
Attorney Clayton P. Miller graduated from The University of Iowa College of Law, a nationally acclaimed law school; and he received his bachelors’ degree in Sociology from The University of Northern Iowa. During law school, Clay’s exceptional litigation skills earned him a position as a judicial intern with the Iowa Court of Appeals. Clay’s extensive work in his community was recognized when he named to the Law School’s Pro Bono Society.
J.T. Bowden

J.T. Bowden attended the University of Windsor and graduated with honors in 2000, from there he went on to Detroit Mercy School of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2004. For the past 17 years, he has been in court on a daily basis representing clients charged with all manners of crimes ranging from low-level misdemeanors to the most serious felony charges. He has appeared in District and Circuit Courts throughout the State of Michigan, with a proven track record to get you the result you are looking for.
Alison Bowden

Alison Bowden is a skilled family law attorney, with more than 21 years of experience handling divorce, custody, parenting time, paternity, child support, property settlement, guardianships, and all other related family law matters. She understands that when an individual is faced with a family law matter, he or she will have many important questions on their mind. She patiently and compassionately takes the time to help her clients understand all of their legal options and to make sure that all of their concerns are addressed.
Jerome Crawford

Jerome Crawford serves as Of Counsel with Detroit Legal Group PLLC. He possesses a myriad of skills and brings a resolution-minded and results-driven approach to any issue his clients face. This trailblazing young attorney is the first Black in-house counsel of a major cannabis manufacturer in the state of Michigan, operating in a unique hybrid role as Chief Legal Officer for Pleasantrees.
Linda Alford
Judicial Court Clerk
Linda served as Judicial Court Clerk for over 37 years at 36th District Court where she clerked for the now Federal Judge Mark Randon, C. Lorene Royster, B. Pennie Millender, and Ronald Giles. She specialized in civil litigation, landlord-tenant, and criminal law. Linda’s general duties as a Judicial Clerk were case management, trial and motion scheduling, and data entry for both the court and the Secretary of State.
Sabrina Mallah
Law Clerk
Sabrina Mallah is a third-year law student at Cooley Law School, where she is expected to graduate in December 2025. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Cooley’s Mock Trial team as Treasurer, reflecting her drive, organizational ability, and commitment to advocacy. Sabrina earned her Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University, where she developed an interest in the law. She has gained practical experience through internships and externships in both family and criminal law settings. Sabrina plans to sit for the February 2026 bar exam and is passionate about pursuing a career in family and property law.
